BIG LAP OF AUS

We are both naturally outgoing and we enjoy being outside, our favourite place hands down is the beach, we love nothing more than driving onto a beach and setting up for the day, or better still, to be able to tow our caravan down onto a beach and set up for as long as possible is our idea of absolutely winning at life!

Like many who enjoy caravanning, our dream had always been to do an extended trip, 3 to 6 months maybe, or better still, a year on the road. We always thought it was something we would do when we retire, or at least close to retirement. But sadly over the years we have both experienced immense loss, we have both lost a parent, and in December 2022 we lost our daughter in a tragic motorcycle accident, this has impacted our lives greatly. It was the year following this that we made the decision to do everything we could to make the dream a reality, in all honesty we needed it.

So November 2024, after just over a year of planning and saving, we headed off with our furry companion Archie, on an adventure of a lifetime, our lap around Australia. It’s honestly the best thing we have ever done.
