Archie’s Australian
Adventure
I am very excited to share the news, that following our adventure’s traveling around Australia, I have writen a children’s book.
The book is a beautifully illustrated picture book, with a rhyming narrative, telling the story of Archie’s adventure’s traveling around Australia, naming just a few of the amazing places we visited.
Each illustration originated from personal photos and drone footage taken on our travels, then applying AI to convert each image into cartoon illustrations to accompany the story.
I would like to introduce you to cartoon Archie, the hero of the story!
The image on the left is the original image of Archie used to create cartoon Archie. Some of the photos I used in the book don’t actually have Archie in them, occasionally pets weren’t aloud, like in national parks for example. So I used this cartoon image of Archie to either replace us in a photo, or simply add him to a photo, trying to keep each illustrated Archie consistent.
Without giving too much away, I wanted to share just a few of the images used to tell the story of Archie’s adventure. The first image I wanted to share was Archie sat on the Tucker box in Gundagai, NSW.
Next we have Archie walking on the well known Seppeltsfield Road, in South Australia’s Barossa Valley.
And finally, this photo was taken at Ellinjaa Falls, in Queenslands Atherton Tablelands. This was national park so no pets allowed. This is an example of me adding Archie into an illustration.
